to all my friends on this site, i wanna start off by saying THANK YOU and i mean say it like i never have. i'm just a dude that likes to sing and took a shot and now wow i have fans!!! how cool is that?! i truly appreaciate every one of ya'll who has showed me and continues to show me your love and undying support and i'ts because of you that i do what i do. i hardly ever get a chance to get on this site but i'll keep you posted as much as i can. as some of you may know, i've been working on a lot of different projects since idol. working on a new record is just one of them so i'm very excited about that! a lot of people also inquire if i'm still in 6th day or DnH. well, right now i'm working on a solo project and taking  this opportunity to grow as an artist, soloist, and as a person. i want ya'll to know me through the music i'm about to put out that defines who "sway" is. i'm excited to share the outcome with all of you. just hang tight and ride this ride with me. again, please accept my undying gratitude to ya'll so thank you, thank you, and thank you. i'll be back yall! i love you all!

SWAY

Bravo!!!! Bravo!!!!! Standing Ovation !!!!!!!

Dear Sway, Thank you for your message.  It's so kind of you to answer alot of questions we Swayers have been wanting to know.  That's great news what you are up to.   Your music project sounds very exciting and we are looking forward to hearing the tune, the melody, the lyrics...  We can't wait for your CD! First of many to come.  We wish you all the best, love yall too!   Wink Wow, Sway was here Swayers.  I feel like singing ....

There's a hero If you look inside your heart You don't have to be afraid Of what you are
There's an answer If you reach into your soul And the sorrow that you know Will melt away

And then a hero comes along With the strength to carry on And you cast your fears aside And you know you can survive So when you feel like hope is gone Look inside you and be strong And you'll finally see the truth
That a hero lies in you.

Thank you Sway for being true to yourself and your creative nature.  We are very proud of you and we will continue supporting you.  Had you not joined AI, and if it was not for this site, I would not have known about your album with 6th Day and DNH which I purchased through ITunes.  Keep up the good work and looking forward to your next CD!

Hello Sway!  What's up?  Are you back in your doorman job at Marriot?  How's your membership at INC?  Keep up your faith.  I have a humble suggestion pal.  There are lots of Fil-Am talents who made it big in the Philippine entertainment.  Many were successful as guests; singers, TV and movie stars.  Why don't you consider that?  Your Filipino look and American background are assets to your career there.  What you need is a good manager to handle your career.  If it doesn't work out, then back to the US.  Nothing you loose man....

maryuz: i think sway along with other fil-am acts are trying really hard to break in to mainstream america. with that being said and sway having a lot of new doors open for him, we have to believe in them...support them in their movement not tell them to go to the Philippines because there's a high probability that they're gonna be successful there.

You misinterpreted my humble and sincere suggestion.  Of course we want to break into the mainstream but the reality doesn't allow that at this time.  It's like getting into coffee distribution when we all know that it's controlled by the Columbian cartel.  Lea Salonga made it but only because of her exposure at Miss Saigon.  If she records single or album for international market, I doubt if she would get enough patronage from the mainstream.  Many become successful in the Philippines.  In a way, they help develop the local Pinoy talents too.
Popular movie stars like Piolo Pascual originally came from the US.  In basketball, there are many Fil-Am players contributing to the excitement of Philippine sports.  It's also one way of helping one's motherland, dude.
