Becky, Stevie, Bobby, and Patrick have been eliminated. Competition is getting tight! Performers have to step it up next week!

Oops sorry for the lack of updates. We're working on a redesign for the American Idol section which will feature lots of new information. Stay tuned for that... Anyways the Top 24 have been chosen. You can find who they are on Idolonfox.com. American Idol will be on three times this week with 2-hour performance episodes on Tuesday and Wednesday, and a 1-hour live results show on Thursday. Two guys and two girls will be going home on Thursday, as we make our way down to the Top 12.

In this drama filled episode, the contestants performed together in groups. The evil Brittenum twins again "stole" the show, more like wasted airtime. After resigning from the show, they begged the judges to be reinstated, and unfortunately the judges allowed them to stay. Not many group performances were shown. Some were good, some weren't. Lots were cut. After another solo performance (that wasn't shown), the remaining contestants were split into 4 rooms. Three rooms survived, and one got the boot, leaving the TOP 44! Tonights episode will have another round of dramatic cuts and will finally reveal the TOP 24!

175 idol hopefuls made it to Hollywood and 99 of them advanced to the next round. Contestants picked one of twelve songs to perform in front of the judges, and were accompanied by a pianist and background singers. Not many new people were shown, and most of the early "favorites" made it through. No Jose this episode, but he is shown in the preview for next week where the contestants will perform in groups. Along with the competition picking up, it looks like the drama is heating up as well. Tune in on Valentines Day, Tuesday 2/14 for round two!

So Boston was supposed to be the best audition city, unfortunately from what we saw it was a huge letdown. Even the ones that made it to Hollywood were very mediocre. Some were even put through because of their "looks". Only a few were shown of the 28 that made it to the next round, so lets hope there was more talent that we didn't see. Oh well, at least the auditions are now over, and the Hollywood rounds start tomorrow!

Another okay episode. Only 12 contestants made it through to Hollywood. The last stop in the auditions is Boston, which will be shown Tuesday, February 7th. After that is the HOLLYWOOD round! A preview showed our man JOSE being thankful for being in Hollywood. We're trying to get a clip for those who missed it. Anyway the show should be picking up speed now, as it can't get any worse than these last few auditions episodes. Stay tuned...

Uhh not much to recap. Pretty lackluster episode in Las Vegas, even the rejects weren't that entertaining. Hope the show picks up again in Austin tonight!
